Shirt size value mapping

Shirt size value mapping

With Amazon now requiring additional specifics for shirt size values and Amazon not allowing size ranges (5-6 Years etc) would it be possible to add a mapping menu for 'shirt size value' and 'shirt size to value'. Example our size 5-6 Years would be mapped to 'shirt size value= 5 Years' and 'shirt size to value= 6 Years' and so on.

  1. Hi Jason.

Thanks for this suggestion. I have approved it as a feature request.

But in the meantime, if you need to use a different value for variation specifics because Amazon requires it, there is a section at the bottom of the advanced settings page of WP-Lister labelled ‘Custom Variation Meta’. Simply insert your label for the field in the ‘Field label’ then insert the meta key, which would just be the field label but all lowercase and hyphens for spaces, then save.

After doing that, that label will show up as a field in each variation of the edit product page. Simply insert the proper values in each field within each variation.

Next, browse to the listing profile in WP-Lister, locate the field you wish to provide the values for, click the magnifying glass to the right of the field, then select the custom meta option. That will insert the meta shortcode into the field of the listing profile. Then all you need to do is edit the shortcode to include your field label name.

That should work quite well. If it doesn’t, don’t hesitate to send us a ticket (https://www.wplab.com/request-support/) so we can look into it for you.

    Kind regards,
    John
