WP-Lister for eBay 2.0 has arrived

We are happy to announce that WP-Lister for eBay 2.0 has finally been released – with long awaited support for multiple eBay accounts and sites.

What’s new in 2.0

Additionally, you’ll be able to view and manage your eBay messages within WP-Lister. This feature is still in beta but should be stable by 2.1.

There is more to come in 2015. The template engine will see an upgrade and eventually there should be a collection of free and premium listing templates on

Upgrading to 2.0

Upgrading to version 2.0 is as seamless as upgrading from the free version to WP-Lister Pro is. All your data will be preserved – and you could even switch back to version 1.6.x with a few clicks.

First you have to upgrade your license, which only takes a couple of minutes. Version 2.0 uses a new update system so you will need a new license key as well. Simply log in to your account and follow the instructions.

We had to make these under the hood changes to be able to implement support for license renewals. Yes, that’s right – and leads me to:

New pricing

Just like WP-Lister for Amazon did right from the start, WP-Lister for eBay 2.0 will require annual license renewals in order to receive updates and support.

The good news is: While version 2.0 was always supposed to be a paid upgrade, you can upgrade for free until christmas 2014! So if you own a license for WP-Lister for eBay 1.x, hurry up and get a free one year license for 2.0.

WP-Lister for eBay has come a long way since its birth in 2012. With the recent advent of WP-Lister for Amazon, WP-Lister has become a more of a platform than a simple listing tool. Developing this platform is a continuous effort and has never stopped nor paused.

But eBay and Amazon are not exactly “static systems”. They add new features all the time – like eBay’s Out Of Stock Control option. We keep up with their API updates, WooCommerce and WordPress updates and continue to implement most features requested by our users.

You probably imagined some of that if you ever contacted support or had a look at the huge changelog… I want to keep that rate up but I’ll have to hire additional support staff to be able to focus more on development. (Contact me if you want to help in support!)

That being said, the original plan to release a paid major upgrade each year didn’t exactly work out – which shouldn’t come as a surprise. 😉

Version 2.0 was released over two years after 1.0 – and I’d rather release new features as they are implemented instead of keeping something back to justify another paid major upgrade.

Everyone will benefit from this new pricing plan – but most of all the users of WP-Lister which can rest assured that the platform they rely on will keep on improving and be maintained for a long time to come.

If you’d rather stay on version 1.6.x you’re welcome to do so – it’s your choice. Your license and WP-Lister will continue to work, but there won’t be any more updates or support for 1.6.x except critical bug fixes.

So if you own a license for WP-Lister 1.x, I highly recommend you use the coupon code waiting in your account right away. Next year you’ll have to pay an upgrade fee of 50% or more. (If you own more than one license, please contact us directly instead.)

What’s next?

With this new version released, our main focus will be on the general user experience – starting with updating and improving the documentation. The current single page FAQs will become a searchable database so we can better link relevant information right within WP-Lister.

In the meantime, check out WP-Lister for Amazon – it’s still in beta, but it’s working quite well already. Just don’t expect everything to be as easy as with WP-Lister for eBay – selling on Amazon has a much steeper learning curve than selling on eBay and there is only very basic documentation so far…

kind regards,

    1. Hello Ashar. Could you please submit a support ticket here:

  2. This product is awesome, genuinely helps our business with stock management and sync!

I hope you keep improving it for many years to come! Happy to pay this small fee!

  3. I had to dig in your website and find the blog and comments to make sure this plugin was still alive.

This is good news for me on a new client. They refuse to get together an inventory for me and don’t run one except for ebay.

Glad to see this is the only thing that will import from woocommerce to ebay.
