Process template shortcodes in item specifics custom values fields
We can map meta data to eBay fields by creating virtual attributes via the hooks, but would be simpler and cleaner for non-tech operators if there was the option to use meta values e.g. in the custom box enter something like [[meta_my_meta_field]] like we can do on templates.

That should certainly be possible to implement, Adam.
But since it would have to be implemented on a per field basis, could you name a few custom fields which you would regard as most important or useful so we could make sure to add these first?
FYI: You can already use all text producing template shortcodes in the “Listing title” field on the edit product page. Apparently a more or less undocumented feature – I will see to mention that in the description.
